What does a treatment cost?
That depends on the species, the size of the building and the number of visits. The price is agreed before the work starts. The report then states exactly what was carried out.
How soon can someone come out?
The inspection is scheduled in consultation, usually at short notice. A wasp nest normally takes one visit. For rodents, bedbugs and cockroaches a recheck follows on a date agreed with you.
What happens during the first visit?
1. Inspection of runways, entry points and traces, with photographs. 2. Proofing: gaps, cable ducts and vents are sealed or specified by size and material. 3. Treatment under IPM, with traps and sealed bait stations taking priority. 4. Monitoring, followed by a written report.
Can I use poison or bait grains myself?
Since 2023 private individuals may no longer use anticoagulant rodenticides outdoors, and indoor products are heavily restricted. Scattering bait yourself leaves the cause in place and often breaks the rules. With us, biocide treatment is done by someone holding the legally required certificate of competence.
Who instructs us: tenant, landlord or VvE?
That depends on the cause; building defects and communal areas sit with the landlord or the VvE. Our report lists separately what the resident must do and what the building requires. You can use that to justify the instruction and the invoice.
